Nail cleaner – thorough preparation for nail design
When a nail designer artfully combines colours, sets accents and creates shapes, it looks fantastic – not only the result but also the way it is done. But the modelling or application of polishes and gels, rhinestones, stickers or glitter is only one part of nail design. The procedure also includes the preparation of the nail – such as the cleaning and degreasing of the nail with nail cleaner.
Professional cleaning of the fingernails
To make sure that the nail design – artificial nails and polishes – adhere well to the natural nails, and then continue to look good for a longer period, the nail surface needs to be clear of residues, dust and grease. This could be residues from nail polish, previous gel or acrylic nails, or glue, or fine dust from filing and polishing the nails, or grease from creams or massage oil. All of these can affect the quality of the nail design result. Glues might not adhere completely, gels and polishes may not harden fully. Remove nail polish, clean off grease, eliminate dust: A nail cleaner has a lot to do, which is why it contains a variety of ingredients. Common components of nail cleaners are acetone (generally for nail polish remover), ethyl and butyl acetate, glycol or a derivative, and fatty alcohol. Some nail cleaners can also be used for cleaning brushes. This has the advantage that the working tools do not need to be cleaned with harsh, skin-damaging products.
Nail cleaner for nail modelling
Nail cleaners are also suitable for removing the dispersion film (sweating layer) in nail modelling, resulting in a wonderful all-round product. However the nail cleaner should only be used on the cured gel layer (building layer), not on the adhesive gel layer. The liquid is so gentle that the nail cleaner can be used on every building layer and also on the finish. Nail cleaners with a fragrance are also very pleasant. Fragrances such a coconut, coffee or melon are released into the air, and create an inviting atmosphere – especially compared to the biting smell of other nail cleaners. This creates a comfortable ambience in your nail salon or at the customer's home. It relaxes the fingers and the soul. Nail cleaners are an essential tool for professional nail designers, and are used regularly. You also use a lot of it, which is why it's a good idea to have plenty of nail cleaner in stock – especially as it is used for many different activities.
